Upcoming conference and tutorial
CHERI Blossoms 2027
A hands-on pre-conference tutorial followed by two days connecting technical progress, adoption, policy and industry experience.
Three days, two ways to participate
The pre-conference tutorial is intended to give students, researchers and developers practical grounding in CHERI and CHERIoT. Based on the 2026 format, useful preparation includes familiarity with C or C++, basic systems concepts and the ability to follow command-line exercises. The 2027 tutorial agenda is not yet confirmed.
The main conference broadens the audience to product leaders, business strategists, policymakers, researchers and engineers. Expect a mix of ecosystem updates, implementation reports, standards or policy context and deeper technical sessions.
Who should attend
- New technical practitioners: prioritise the tutorial and introductory architecture sessions.
- Experienced engineers: look for implementation, performance, porting and compartment-design evidence.
- Product and policy leaders: focus on adoption dependencies, assurance, regulation and case evidence.
- Researchers: use the event to connect open questions with platforms, software and potential collaborators.
